"It started as a joke and developed into serious business… Nowadays Daniel Voigt is delivering the goods via his sicsic-Label but before becoming a New-Age-Salesman lately he started fumbling around with synthesizers and assorted electronic paraphernalia in 2009. Being notorious for losing his mind and personal belongings he adopted his Hering und seine sieben Sachen moniker for fun and found himself praised soon after by Byron Coley - but size doesn't matter that much, y'know… and so he continued relatively unimpressed (and lazy) to pull off his slighty maddened mixture of new-new-age and post-industrial-sounds - like playing a worn-out thriftstore copy of an Oliver Messiaen record at a busy city crossroad: foggy but beautiful."
